Baby Shower Favors

This week was a busy one for baby cookies - I did rocking horse favors for Baby Boy Calvin, and onesie cookies for Baby Girl Annabelle. Wishing them both a healthy entrance into this world. There is surely nothing sweeter and more precious than a brand new baby.

Boy Oh Boy!

While working on some baby shower cookies this weekend, I decided to try a few new designs, and also made up a "new baby" cookie bouquet.

Cookie Exchange Party

I hosted my first cookie exchange party today, and it was a success! Each guest was asked to bring 4 dozen of their favorite cookie. We had snacks, drinks, and sampled all the cookies...then each guest made a variety platter to take home. We sipped on egg nog, cider, and of course, chocolate milk. There were 3 contest categories and prizes for each: "Best Looking Cookie", "Most creative/Unique Cookie" and the ultimate "Best Tasting Cookie". Each guest recieved a potholder tied up with a bow and an ornament as a party favor. It was a delicious afternoon with family and friends, and got us in the Christmas spirit. I think I will be making this an annual event.
