Party Owls

I made these cookies for my nephew's owl-themed first birthday party, and love that they each had their own, fun personality.

My sister, the party organizer, made the cutest owl tablecloth and cupcakes. I guess owls are her thing these days. She regularly makes and sells the most adorable owl hats, for both kids and adults, on her etsy site: http://www.etsy.com/shop/WillowsLoft

The party was a hoot!

Be My Valentine

Who says Valentine's Day is just for girls? These were inspired by the amazing cookie maker, Sweet Sugar Belle, and I'll be making them for my boys to give out on Valentine's Day. She even has a tutorial with tips on making your own: http://www.sweetsugarbelle.blogspot.com/

Then of course we have some super sweet cookies for your little Lovebugs.

Individually wrapped favors are $2.25 each. Or, I can box up a cute set of 4 cookies with a personalized note, and mail to your favorite kid for $18, which includes shipping to anywhere in the continental US. Then, you'll be the super hero. Great for grandkids, nieces, nephews, and best buddies.

Order by 2/9 for delivery by Valentine's Day.

Baby Shower Favors

This week was a busy one for baby cookies - I did rocking horse favors for Baby Boy Calvin, and onesie cookies for Baby Girl Annabelle. Wishing them both a healthy entrance into this world. There is surely nothing sweeter and more precious than a brand new baby.

Boy Oh Boy!

While working on some baby shower cookies this weekend, I decided to try a few new designs, and also made up a "new baby" cookie bouquet.

Cookie Exchange Party

I hosted my first cookie exchange party today, and it was a success! Each guest was asked to bring 4 dozen of their favorite cookie. We had snacks, drinks, and sampled all the cookies...then each guest made a variety platter to take home. We sipped on egg nog, cider, and of course, chocolate milk. There were 3 contest categories and prizes for each: "Best Looking Cookie", "Most creative/Unique Cookie" and the ultimate "Best Tasting Cookie". Each guest recieved a potholder tied up with a bow and an ornament as a party favor. It was a delicious afternoon with family and friends, and got us in the Christmas spirit. I think I will be making this an annual event.

Halloween Cake Pops

Thought I'd try making some Halloween cake pops. If you've never had a cake pop, they are basically cake and frosting rolled into one delicious bite. They taste soooo good!

A "champagne" toast...

This was an order for my popular bridal cookies, but this time they were requested in a champagne & chocolate brown color scheme. I was loving this since these were the colors of my own wedding. The cookies were brushed with an edible gold dust to give them a little shimmer.
Packaged up as favors for a bridal shower. Congrats to the bride & groom!

Toy Story Cookies

These were made for a 5th birthday party. Buzz Lightyear was my first real character cookie, and I was pretty pleased with the end results.

Here were the "testers" I did the week prior. I sent them to my sons's daycare for his birthday week, and the kids loved 'em!

We appreciate teachers!

I donated a basket of cookies to the local Staples where my husband works for "Teacher Appreciation Day".

Know a teacher that needs appreciating? Have a student that needs some well wishes for the upcoming school year? Send them a school-themed cookie gift set!

Bachelorette Party

I made these "Sex and the City" themed cookies for a bachelorette party. Boxed them up in sets of 4 - each girl got a shoe, purse, martini and dress.

The boxes are new, and I like them because they are made from 100% recycled box board. Eco-friendly packaging.

I also made more of my popular wedding dresses this week - with yellow accents - for a summer bridal shower.

Dance Recital Cookies

These are two of my favorite things - dancing and making cookies - so these are a match made in heaven. These will be sold at the concession table at Jazziak's Dance School's recital.

One cannot go to dance class without a cute dance bag

And dancewear,

And the proper shoes.

These are for all the star dancers

And the little princesses that always steal the show.
